Beck And Call is a story that begins in a certain way, yet, takes you in an entirely unforeseen direction. There is so much more than the Dominant and submissive; far more than a man who lures the woman he wants into his life with promises of pleasure. Instead, you get an emotional journey that merges with unexpected twists and turns. The result is something that captures your attention and entertains throughout.
When Keith decides his assistant is everything he could possibly want following a fantasy he cannot shake, he puts a plan into motion to see if there is the possibility she might reciprocate the interest. Sending notes anonymously, he tempts her to explore the world of BDSM. Of course, Serena is captivated by the prospect, despite the mystery surrounding the identity of her admirer. As they enter into a relationship that begins via phone and messages, each learns the others wants and needs. Ultimately, their union is cemented when Serena ventures to Keith’s apartment, still unaware of his identity, and they share a weekend together. Upon her return to work the following week, a chain of events will shake the very foundation that Keith has laid. To say what that is would be to spoil, which I will not do, but I can say I was surprised at the shift and couldn’t wait to learn what happened next.
As a new author, Abby Gordon has managed to create something that readers will not only enjoy, but will remember her by. The characters are wonderfully developed, the story is intriguing, and the sex positively sizzles. Keith and Serena have a combustive chemistry and each new encounter is more intense than the one before. You’ll writhe and pant, wriggle and squirm, and before you know it, fall in love with both of them.
A definite must for the TBR list, especially for fans of the BDSM genre. Be sure not to miss Beck and Call.
